Gulf of Riga Regatta (GoRR): invitation to participate and share information
On behalf of Latvian Yachting Union and Gulf of Riga Regatta (GoRR) organizational team, we are honored to invite the members of Pärnu Yacht Club to participate in this year’s Baltic midsummer regatta – the Gulf of Riga Regatta (GoRR) 2019.
We welcome you to join the five races in Latvia and Estonia islands that will take place from 25th until 29th June 2019 in the waters of the Gulf of Riga. This year's competition will be also Latvian Offshore Sailing Championship 2019 and first time sailing challenge for the Livonia Cup.
Throughout GoRR sailing competition, organizers of the regatta in cooperation with governmental and non-governmental partners will raise awareness on the environment protection of the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Riga. The aim of this regatta is to draw attention of all Baltic sailors and unitedly encourage becoming watchdogs of our maritime treasure – waters surrounding us.
